CORONA VIRUS UPDATE - Check out Online Giving

 (Readings: Is 50:4-7// Psalm 22:2a// Phil 2:6-11// Mt 26:14-27:66).

Palm Sunday begins with the reading of the jubilant march into Jerusalem with palms held high and hosannas ringing out (Mt 21:1-11). but very quickly, the Gospel reminds us that this is more properly called Passion Sunday and begins Holy Week. The palms remind us our human fickleness: if we live our lives dependent on human acclaim, popular opinion, we are building on the wind. The palms place us within the Passion account identifying us with any character (Peter, Judas, Pilate, etc..). And the palms remind us of Christ love, despite our sins, in Him we can have a new and strong life. The King goes to be crowned: his crown is thorns, and his throne a cross. He comes to the world, to his Church, to my family, to my soul and says: here I am, I am for you; are you for me?... Have a happy Holy Week (Fr Gabriel).

 (Lecturas: Is 50,4-7// Sal 21 // Fil ,6-11// Mt 26,14-27.66.

 (Padre Gabriel).
